Its April 06 and I take it all back. Skinny wheeled road bikes may be fast but I've had 6 punctures and 5 broken spokes on the back wheel!
The back wheel has now been totally rebuilt. I need new tyres as you could shoot dirty looks through the thin rubber on the 700 x 25's the bike came with.
Over all its been my worst purchase of 2005 but I'll keep ridding it and modify it as I see fit. No point thrashing my shiny M4 and its expensive Kevlar bead tyres on the tarmac.
Next purchase is a pair of 700 x 32 tyres, something bullet proof like Continentals or Gators would be good.
